Last Sunday (April 20) we were invited by Hsinchu City Government to attend the Closing Ceremony of the Hsinchu City Glass Festival. At this event, Mrs. Duncan Brown was one of the Hsinchu teachers honoured for their outstanding contribution to the arts in schools. Congratulations to Mrs. D.B, who is now the proud possessor of a very special glass trophy and Award Plaque!

Many HIS parents were present, including Mr. Jean Yves and Mrs. Elizabeth Bret, who represented the French community in Hsinchu. Mr. Shinji Nagashima and Mr. Satoshi Fujiwara, Director and Co-Director of the Hsinchu Area Japanese Association, were also in attendance.
